Sufficient free time is one of the basic conditions for admission to the unit. Activities within KVH Devil Dogs z.s. require regular participation in training, events and other organizational activities, which take place mainly on weekends. The applicant should be able to devote approximately one to two weekends a month to this hobby in the long term, according to the current plan of events and the needs of the unit.
Membership in a unit represents a time commitment that includes not only participation in training or events, but also the preparation of equipment, planning, transfers and administrative activities associated with the operation of the association. Each member is part of an organized whole and his presence at planned activities is essential to maintain the functionality and effectiveness of teamwork.
Sufficient free time is also important for the long-term stability of the membership. Participation in events and training is crucial to maintaining the necessary level of readiness and ensuring a uniform standard of training. A member who cannot participate regularly loses continuity with the team's activities and at the same time limits its ability to function as a compact unit.
The unit emphasizes a responsible approach. The applicant should be able to realistically assess his/her time options and reconcile activities in the unit with his/her personal, study or work obligations. An “as-needed” approach is not sufficient in this case – long-term time availability and reliability are necessary for full involvement.
Sufficient free time is therefore not only a formal condition for acceptance, but also a necessary prerequisite for the unit to maintain a high level of preparation, cooperation and representation in public.
