Activity and genuine interest in the unit's activities are the basic conditions for accepting a new member. Membership in the unit is neither symbolic nor passive, it assumes long-term participation, a personal approach and a willingness to participate in all aspects of the team's functioning. The applicant must demonstrate an interest in the issue of modern USMC, reenactment, training and the activities that the unit performs.
The activity requirement means that the unit member regularly participates in training, preparations, events and public presentations. Involvement in the unit's activities is not limited to the events themselves, but also includes preparing equipment, participating in internal communication and performing organizational tasks. An active approach is key to maintaining a functional and reliable team structure.
Interest in the subject is also manifested in independent preparation. The candidate should follow current procedures, equipment and tactical elements used by the USMC, develop his knowledge and maintain a basic overview of the activities of the armed forces. The unit emphasizes that each member has his own initiative and contributes to the improvement of the whole.
Activity and interest are also important in terms of the unit's representation in public. Each member is perceived as a part of the whole and their attitude influences the image of the entire organization. Therefore, disciplined behavior, respect for traditions, adherence to internal rules and maintaining standards that the unit has maintained for a long time are expected.
An applicant who does not demonstrate sufficient interest, low activity or does not respect the unit's principles cannot be accepted. The goal is not the number of members, but the quality and reliability of individuals who form a solid and functional team.
